2010 FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony Schedules and Latest Updates – The two day opening ceremony will start at 8:00PM local time (GMT+2) at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg this Thursday. Top music artist coming from differt countries will perform for the two day opening ceremony. Shakira with the local South African group Fleshlyground will perform the 2010 World Cup song “Waka Waka” (This Time for Africa). John Legend, Alicia Keys, the Black Eyed Peas, colombian heart-throb Juanes, Parlotones, Angelique Kidjo and such top African musicians such Amadou and Mariam will be epect to perform. 20 Centers for 2010 a charity campaign dedicated to build twenty Football for Hope Centres for public health, education and football across Africa will be the beneficairy of the Thursday night concert.
